BombBomb, the leading innovator in video email messaging, announced the appointment of John Main as Chief Financial Officer. The company serves customers in 42 countries and was founded in 2006.

Main will report to COO Nicole Craine, who oversees daily operations at BombBomb.

During his career, Main has held senior positions in the finance and technology sectors. He served as CFO and CTO at STRAX Intelligence Group for over six years, where he was responsible for creating a common operating platform for emergency response services. Prior to that, he worked at Modernizing Medicine, a leading company in the electronic medical records systems industry. Before joining Modernizing Medicine, he spent five years at Campus Management, which is now known as Anthology.com. The company was sold to Leeds Private Equity in the largest deal of its kind in the edtech sector.
Main’s roles involved handling both finance and technology aspects, including modeling, analysis, and enterprise systems to unify sales, marketing, and support. He holds a B.S. in Financial Analysis from Louisiana State University at Shreveport and an M.B.A. from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
