Distinctive Designers and Unique Visions
The “Birdie” series, a collaboration between designer Jenny Xiao and photographer Xiaohan Lu, reinterpreted the sport of golf with vibrant colors, unconventional shapes, and dynamic energy. This series was not just a fashion creation but also an exploration of family, sports, and identity.Elena’s OSFH Studio, from Parsons School of Design, showcased a perfect blend of art and fashion. Her multimedia art pieces were not only a visual treat but also a reflection on contemporary society, personal struggles, and global issues.
Artistic Synergy in Fashion
Art and fashion converged in the show, transforming garments into storytelling vehicles. Sayoko Osada’s installations and digital art delved into identity and transformation, while ALIENANT’s “glitch” designs and “wearable defense mechanisms” symbolized resilience. Japanese artist Sayoko Osada’s works explored themes of identity and change. Her visual art pieces, spanning multiple mediums, deeply analyzed and reflected on societal and psychological issues. ALIENANT, a luxury fashion brand, is known for its unique “glitch” design genes and “wearable defense mechanism” design concept. The brand believes that regardless of the trials of life, we have the power to turn trauma into triumph and rebuild a stronger self.
Spotlight on SPRING STREET STORY
Adding to the show’s diversity, SPRING STREET STORY, founded by Lulu Hou and Tingting Shi in 2022, presented hand-made polymer clay jewelry. Their vibrant pieces, inspired by the joy of clay sculpting, captured everyday happiness. Each high-quality piece highlighted individuality, adding a special touch to personal style.
LUCKISLE: A Beacon of Hope
LUCKISLE shone with its philosophy of igniting “inner radiance” and confronting life’s paradoxes. Their message, “LUCK IS ALL around us,” resonated with attendees, emphasizing the splendor of the present.
Chaimi Design and Friendship
Chaimi Design exhibited its “Heart Stars Series,” a collaboration and result of the friendship between Iris and the designer. This series is a new interpretation of their 2017 “Bubble Wall” and a gift to celebrate their eight-year friendship.
