Artist and DJ Xavier Dragner has launched a new initiative titled Bigger Than Music, a project rooted in giving back and creating real impact beyond the dancefloor. The project is funded through a percentage of what Xavier earns from music streams, live performances, his clothing brand, and festivals, with proceeds contributing directly to feeding the homeless.
The idea was sparked by a moment of reflection. While witnessing people freely spending on luxuries, a single scene stood out. An expensive bottle of alcohol was poured onto the floor as a show of excess, while just steps away, people in need sat unseen. That contrast became the turning point. It raised a simple but powerful question about priorities and responsibility.
“This moment stayed with me,” says Xavier Dragner. “It made me realise how easily we spend on indulgence while people go hungry every day. I am in a position to open doors for other artists, and I felt that doing more is my responsibility. Bigger Than Music is my way of turning success into something that can directly help others.”
From that moment, Bigger Than Music was born. What started as an observation has grown into a commitment. The project serves as a reminder that music has the power to create change when aligned with purpose. For Xavier Dragner, it is no longer only about performance or success. It is about responsibility, action and using a platform to uplift others.
This is now bigger than music.
