Fadi Sneineh is making an initiative with COVID prevention and detection as he recently opened a free COVID 19 testing location in Bridgeview. The location currently offers the PCR COVID test via walk-in or drive-thru. COVID 19 Rapid tests are planned but are not present at the location currently.
No appointments are needed as anyone looking to get tested can walk in or drive-thru at a moment’s notice. The COVID 19 testing center will be open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 8028 S Harlem Ave. At the very same time, the website has gone live. Visitors can get in contact with them with any questions or concerns. They’ll be given a test requisition form upon arrival at the location.
“Testing for COVID 19 has become as common in the regard that everyone is now getting them,” says Sneineh, “Not only have our own customers been going in for rapid and PCR COVID 19 testing but also several of our employees too. Everyone is looking out for their health, and we wanted to help in both providing the service and preventing the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.”
COVID tests are generally really easily done nasal swab tests completed in minutes with no cost to the visitor or their health insurance provider. The only thing required on their part is an I.D. and health insurance card if it’s applicable. Again, COVIDÂ Drive-thru Testing does not yet offer rapid tests but will in the future. These are the COVID tests wherein the results are same-day while COVID PCR test results take about two days.
“Of course, all COVID tests are free. Not only because safety is priceless, but because slowing the spread is a collaborative process. Sometimes COVID testing is a requirement by employers or after possible exposure, we specialize in providing services that people need to continue going safely about their lives in an easy and accessible way. This goes beyond business, however, because it’s a matter of health,” Sneineh said.
