Early Experiences to Defy Conventions
Aaron Posey has agreed to delve into the topic of equity and inclusion within education and to discuss how to empower students, setting the leaders of tomorrow up for success and providing them with leadership opportunities in the future. In addition to this, he volunteers some best practices institutions can implement today to develop holistic and effective equity and inclusion initiatives from the get-go.
“I’ve always dreamed of being able to help students move forward with learning and with their careers. Getting to do that each and every day as well as being able to discuss important topics pertaining to equity and inclusion makes me proud to do what I do,” says Posey.

“My goal is to help people realize the innate abilities, the import role they play in the world and of potential,” says Aaron Posey.
“I’m grateful for the lessons I’ve learned and the opportunities I was given at an early age, and I feel that it’s my responsibility to affect positive change, to truly help others who may not have been dealt with the same cards,” says Posey.

Best Practices for Equity and Inclusion
According to Boston Consulting Group’s 2024 Diversity and Inclusion Report, DEI starts at the top. Appointing diverse leaders from marginalized communities, underrepresented populations and with equal representation is where it all starts.
This finding aligns perfectly with Aaron Posey’s mission statement to empower the youth of tomorrow so that they can take on leadership roles. By working directly with institutions as well as with youth on their educational journey, Posey hopes to see greater diversity in appointing leadership.
“There are no excuses and the resources are available,” says Aaron Posey.
“It’s about putting the work in, and that’s what I’m here to do.”
