Born and raised in Southern California Elias The Firstt is a comedian, actor, and improviser making waves in his community.
In a recent interview, he said, “This is how I service people… it is how I make people happy.”
If you have ever seen him live, you know this to be true. He grew up involved in drama & choir, starred in a 2015 play at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, was a guest choreographer for Antelope Valley College Dance Dimensions, worked as a Las Vegas dancer for the Nathan Burton Comedy Magic Show, and is a founding member of the Zebra Improv Troupe.
When asked about where his desire to serve others through entertainment came from, he immediately said, “Micheal Jackson is my idol, my hero, and the epitome of entertainment.” After a pause, he added, “Entertainment has always been my escape from reality.”
Elias grew up in a loving but very religious household as the son of a pastor. It was a wonderful home, but even as a child, he felt different, like he didn’t quite fit in. By the time he was 11, he began to realize he was attracted to both men and women. It was something he knew would never be fully accepted in his home.
Instead of focusing on the difficulties, he threw himself into creating joy, both for himself and others. He realized that he loved to sing, dance, and make others laugh- and that he was good at it. Another part of his giving back came through servicing the community in a variety of ways. Whether through event planning, making one of his signature drinks for a friend, or his yearly volunteering with Sheryl Lee Ralph Divas Simply Singing Charity Foundation- Elias is always looking for a way to make others feel better.
Most recently, he did a stand up comedy set at King Bar. Elias is an emerging talent who is a true entertainer and gift to the world.
