Corcoran Reverie announced its continued commitment for the 19th annual Seaside School Half Marathon + 5K as an Inspiration Sponsor for their first-ever virtual race.
Founded in 1996, The Seaside School, Inc. was one of the first and is now one of the oldest surviving public charter schools in Florida. Its original goal was simple – create a school to address the need for better middle school education in Walton County. Seaside School now has over 330 students across two campuses serving grades 5th through 12th.
The Seaside School Half Marathon + 5k provides middle school and high school students the opportunity to participate in elective classes for gardening, music, art, an award-winning robotics program, advanced placement classes as well as career-readiness industry certification courses. The funds raised from the 2021 Seaside School Virtual Half Marathon + 5K will support the Seaside School Foundation’s Educate, Gather & Grow initiative.
“While we share our beautiful shores with thousands of visitors a year, those that live here year-round are a close-knit community. The Seaside School is a huge part of that community, and for me personally,” says Corcoran Reverie Broker & Owner Hilary Farnum-Fasth. “My son will be graduating from The Seaside School in 2022, and myself, along with so many of my colleagues and friends, appreciate what the school does to further education in our community. We are excited for our team to race together and continue our support of the school through our company’s sponsorship.”
