Rising Los Angeles star Alexa Speyer found a passion for the performing arts as a toddler. She sang and danced wherever she went, whether that was at home, at school, or even on an airport runway during a three-hour plane delay. She started her professional singing and acting training at the young age of ten, a firm commitment to her craft already solidifying by the time she headed off to Etobicoke School of the Arts for their competitive Musical Theatre program. Alexa continued developing her extraordinary talent at AMDA College of the Performing Arts where she shared the same stage as Anthony Ramos, Jason Derulo, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson once did.
After graduating with her B.F.A in Acting, Alexa has chosen to remain based out of Los Angeles, where she is represented in both Canada and the United States. This young actress is already leaving her mark on the industry in a short amount of time. Alexa has appeared in several independent films, including F*CK THE PROM and The Damaged. She has most recently starred as the lead in the critically acclaimed film, Take Flight and this spring she is set to take the stage with a leading role in Authenticity coming mid-April to the Los Angeles Centre Studios. Alexa’s high energy and grounded performance is sure to once again captivate audiences.
