Mother of inventor Elon Musk and author of the “A Woman Makes a Plan…” book, Maye Musk visited Kyiv at the invitation of the founder of the LEO International Payment System Alona Shevtsova.
On November 9, Maye Musk and Alona Shevtsova participated in an interview that was aired within the “Zavtrak” show on 1+1 Channel. During the conversation, Maye shared the secrets of success and parenting, told the audience about overcoming the most difficult periods of her life, and about her feelings as a grandmother, having 12 grandchildren.
Maye Musk is a model, writer, nutritionist, and mother of three children. The most famous of them is the owner of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk. In addition, Maye is the author of several books. The most famous book is her autobiography called “A Woman Makes a Plan: Advice for a Lifetime of Adventure, Beauty, and Success.”
Alona Shevtsova, who invited Maye to Kyiv, is one of the most famous and influential women in the Fintech industry of Ukraine. In February 2020, the LEO International Payment System owned by Shevtsova received a currency license from the NBU. Furthermore, in the summer of 2021, the LEO International Payment System became one of the four largest players in the Ukrainian money transfer market, while the company’s Supervisory Board was led by the third president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko.
Similar to Maye Musk, Alona Shevtsova is a mother of several children and has her secrets about raising them.

It is not the first visit of Maye Musk to Ukraine. She has already visited Kyiv in 2017 to attend a business conference. Recently, the famous writer appeared at a charity event in Qatar in an embroidered dress by the famous Ukrainian designer Yuliya Magdych.
