The VR game is set in a lovely hot spring resort in Japan. The hot spring resort referred to as Tokoharu Koi-Koi Hot Spring is considered a ryokan popular for its cherry and plum trees, blooming all year round. Nonetheless, a mysterious storm caused the two trees to lose all their charming blooms a few years ago. Thus, the ryokan will encounter a crisis.
Having inherited the ryokan, players will meet two sisters who they found out to be their old childhood friends. The composed and cool older sister Koume and her timid younger sister Sakura. VR players will spend time under the same roof, and the three of them will work towards re-establishing the ryokan to its previous glory.
Players can enjoy the love story in Japanese animation style, together with the majestic sceneries of traditional Japanese gardens, and treat themselves to the open-air baths and hot spring table tennis.
Players who wish to enter the virtual reality game can become the main character and experience the love story with the game’s two sisters. Koi-Koi: Love Blossoms is packed with actions and adventures, providing a massive volume of content that is guaranteed to the player’s satisfaction. On top of that, users can play through ten chapters of adventure with numerous endings.
Anyone can become the protagonist and experience the amazing story in Adventure Mode. Players can also enhance their compatibility with the heroines through their choices in the conversation. The best part here is they can experience different endings based on their compatibility with every girl. Take note that the heroines are completely voiced in Adventure Mode.
There are also other features. Players can challenge the different minigames of the hot spring, such as VR table tennis in Action Mode. The Action Mode can only be accessed by playing through the main game.
If necessary, players can take a break from Adventure Mode and play with the heroines via a controller. There are lots of bonus modes where players can engage with the protagonist whose heart belongs to the player and strengthen their overall compatibility.
Just a word of caution from the developers. The VR Game may include content that may not be suitable for all audiences or may not be appropriate for viewing at a workplace. For instance, there’s a scene in the game where you’ll interact with the character in a bath towel.
Koi-Koi VR: Love Blossoms is now available in English subtitles, and all the character voices are in Japanese. The game is compatible with SteamVR and can be played on different VR devices by connecting to a PC.
