Japan-based electronic commerce and electric company DMM.com is happy to announce that DMM Regional Revitalization has been picked as the official organizer of the Kitakyushu Anime Songs Piano Live 2022. The live concert will be held on Sunday, December 11th, starting at 15:00.
The event will be held in Hibiki Hall in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, featuring performances from Miyaken, Manamaru, Animenz, and May’n. General tickets will be available on sale from Thursday, October 13th.
The Kitakyushu Anime Songs Piano Live 2022 is a live piano concert that features about twenty popular anime songs performed by highly-sought pianist Animenz whose Bilibili and YouTube channels have at least two million subscribers.
He will be accompanied by the versatile pianist Manamaru, who plays the piano while imitating an anime character. The event will also feature the street piano YouTuber and professional trombone player Miyaken. On top of that, the live piano concert will showcase the talented female singer May’n whose theme songs for movies, anime, and games have topped the chart and added to the lineup.

Manamaru is a pianist who not just plays the piano but also offers an unconventional and unique form of entertainment like singing while mimicking anime characters, ventriloquism, and light-hearted talk that have become a major hit on social media.
Animenz is born in Germany and has lived in Japan since 2019. Active as a piano arranged and Steinway artist, he won numerous prizes in different competitions in Germany and studied classical music throughout college.
He is popular for his one-of-a-kind performance style that combines classical and Japanese anime music. In 2010, Animenz started posting videos on YouTube, with this year marking the 12th year since he started.
He has at least two million subscribers on his Bilibili and YouTube accounts. In the video overview section, he has received promising reviews for his thorough explanations of musical background and motifs in arrangements.
Animenz is also fluent in four languages, including Japanese, Chinese, English, and German and boasts overwhelming support from international anime fans.
May’n is a talented singer who captivates Japanese and international listeners with her overwhelming singing skills, which aren’t bound by genre and her high-pitched voice that can hold high notes. She debuted in 2005 at a young age and has made numerous theme songs for games, movies, and anime that topped the charts, earning her unsurpassed popularity.
She loves performing live on the world stage through festival appearances and overseas tours, including domestic venues like Yokohama Arena and Nippon Budokan.
Miyaken graduated top of his class from the Aichi Prefectural University of Arts as a trombone. He now works as a professional trombone player and a guest performer and artist in professional orchestras. He also releases videos of himself playing around street pianos on YouTube.
