World-renowned artist Vladimir Kush launches his first animated NFT artwork “Last Supper” into the digital marketplace.
This painting is an allusion, an allegory, a way of presenting the Gospel event of the Last Supper. The idea behind it corresponds closely to the famous fresco painted by Leonardo da Vinci between 1495-1497 in an Italian monastery. Pictured is a detailed account of 12 flower characters animated by light, and the unrest created by the historical words of Christ: “One of you will betray me.” The reaction to these words shows in the hands-stems uplifted in exasperation, in a mute appeal to Christ, in the flower heads bowed down to the inevitable, in the thoughtful turning of the “leaves,” in the Book of Fate, searching for the answers, in cowardly averted eyes, withdrawing inwardly to hide beneath a kind of hood…
This animated artwork innovatively re-tells the famous story by presenting the emotions of the apostles with the colors of the flowers.
This extremely limited edition of twelve, will allow you to collect a one-of-a-kind animated digital artwork only available on Rarible and Opensea. This painting was initially featured on the artist’s self-published book “Light for the Souls” released in 2018.
The artist has revolutionized the artworld by creating and introducing his own branch of art called “Metaphorical Realism” and, since the beginning of his career, he has stand out as a one-of-a-kind artist in the industry of fine art with a wide collection of original paintings, limited edition prints, watercolors, drawings, bronze and silver sculptures, a unique jewelry line, wearable art, self-published books, and digital artworks.
