Integral Senior Living, the operating company of Discovery Senior Living, has recently appointed Laura Fischer as its Chief Operating Officer. Fischer brings over 23 years of experience in the senior living industry, having worked in various leadership roles, including West Division Vice President for Brookdale Senior Living, where she managed more than 300 communities across 18 states. Fischer has also held the positions of Vice President of Operations, Regional Director of Operations, and Executive Director. Currently, she serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the California Assisted Living Association.

As the Chief Operating Officer of ISL, Fischer will be responsible for overseeing all operational functions, setting performance and growth goals, and creating and implementing business strategies for execution.

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Fischer has spent most of her life in California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business from Arizona State University and is set to complete her MBA in April of this year.
