Trivia fan? Or looking for a fun family VR game? Then this one’s for you. Trivia Monsters is a VR battle game where you can battle monsters by solving trivia based mini games faster than your opponent. You’ll be throwing an ax at the right answer or shooting a bow. A really fun concept that takes trivia competition to the next level. Battle alone or create a room to battle against your friends and family.

Choose From 8 Monsters To Battle With
Trivia Monsters offers eight distinct characters, each aligned with a particular category and boasting its own trio of mini-games. Stay tuned for more monsters releasing over the next few months. The current roster list with their trivia type is:

Over 10,000 Trivia Questions Across 8 Categories
Each monster’s trivia pool is drawn from one of eight distinct subject areas: Animals, Science, World Locations, Movies, History, Music, TV Shows, and Food. With an extensive database of over 10,000 questions, Trivia Monsters ensures no two battles feel the same. The wide-ranging content not only challenges players’ recall and general knowledge but encourages them to venture beyond their comfort zones and learn something new along the way.

Action-Oriented Mini-Games that Bring Knowledge to Life
What truly sets Trivia Monsters apart is its integration of VR-driven mini-games. When a question is posed, players must physically participate in a challenge that correlates to their chosen monster’s assigned mini-games. Each monster comes equipped with three unique activities—like axe throwing, bow and arrow targeting, paintball blasting, wand shooting, ring tossing, bucket tossing, and more. Completing these tasks quickly and accurately correlates to a successful trivia attack. The faster you solve the puzzle and confirm the correct answer, the stronger your strike against the opponent’s monster’s health points.

This mechanic elevates the tension and excitement. Instead of passively reading questions, players feel immersed in each challenge, as if every correct answer is powering a decisive blow. The combination of cognitive recall and physical coordination offers a thrilling complexity, ensuring that Trivia Monsters appeals equally to trivia enthusiasts and VR action gamers.

Strategic Attacks and Gameplay Flow
Before each round, players pick their monster and choose between light or heavy attacks. Light attacks may feature simpler questions, making them easier to execute but dealing less damage. Heavy attacks offer a bigger payoff at the cost of more challenging trivia. This strategic element ensures that knowledge alone isn’t enough—you must also gauge risk, time, and personal skill level before striking. The match continues until one monster’s health points are reduced to zero, ensuring fast-paced, high-stakes encounters every time.

Ongoing Development, Future Updates, and a Growing Community
Trivia Monsters is more than just a one-off release. Developers at Skill Prepare have laid out an ambitious roadmap, including bi-monthly to monthly updates that will bring new monsters, mini-games, and arenas.

A Perfect Fusion of Mind and Movement
Trivia Monsters proves that the days of static trivia gameplay are long gone. Its innovative combination of knowledge testing, VR mini-games, and competitive battles offers an experience unlike anything else currently available. Whether you’re a history buff, a pop-culture junkie, or simply curious, Trivia Monsters encourages you to think on your feet—quite literally—and step into an arena where intellect and reflexes collide.

Trivia Monsters is available now on the Meta Quest Store.
