Wolfpack Digital and Equality AI won the “Responsible AI” category at the 28th Webby Awards. The Webby Awards are known as the “Internet’s highest honor” and are organized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS). The ceremony took place in New York City on May 13, 2024. Wolfpack Digital, based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, stood out among 13,000 submissions, beating tech giants like Adobe, Pinterest, and Hello Monday. The award was accepted by the co-CEOs, Georgina Lupu Florian and Adrian Florian.
Equality AI, a US-based startup, focuses on reducing biases in automated healthcare systems. The project integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to ensure fair outcomes in clinical decision-making processes. The startup is entirely composed of women, including founders Maia Hightower and Janice Davis.
